Character Artist │3D Modeler

About

Hello! I’m Rain! And I’m a 3D Character Artist! I have a love for stylized beasts, monsters, and lil guys! Put me on creature design, and I’ll have fun making up something wild! While I have a BFA from The College for Creative Studies, I am always looking to learn or even help others if I can. My strengths are modeling characters, from sculpted high poly to textured low poly. But with a passion for indie projects, I’m slowly becoming a jack of all trades! From character concept, project management, material creation, and even level design!I love working on stylized projects, ranging from very cartoony to stylized realism or comic book style. Some big style inspirations for me are Sky: Children of the Light, Death’s Door, Arcane, Borderlands, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, and The Wolf Among Us.In my free time I love to game with friends. Often playing Co-op or just chilling in VC while playing my own story driven adventure game. I also like to go on walks and jam out to tunes while I enjoy Oregon's beautiful wilderness. When I'm not working on another's project or hanging with friends, I'm often working on one of my two own games. My first being Shift in the Divide, and my second Fractured Tides.
Let's get in touch!

Cover art be Yanko_ZN

Participated in the Bad Ideas Game Jam 2026, 30 day jam, with 6 other devs. After getting some amazing concept art from Yanko_ZN, I was tasked with creating the main enemy, as well as the player arms and some environment assets. I spent the first two weeks making environment assets requested by the project leader. Making a task list of each item and communicating with the one other modeler who would work on what. The third week I received the character concept and made the Cube man model, as well as modifying and re-texturing their arms to use for the player's hands. On the forth week I hopped into the Unreal project, utilizing GitHub to collaborate with our game mechanics tech to build the game. Importing mine and the work of the other modeler into the project to start level designing and set dressing, as well as making a few customizable master materials and various instances of them.
Out of the 523 submissions, our game got ranked 85th by the community.

I will not accept your commission if this is not included, as this is how I know you have read and agreed to my Terms of Service.Upon completion, I will supply images of the completed work for approval. If the Customer has not paid in full, then the images will be heavily watermarked.
